Introduced in 1959 this group of 10 single car parcels units built by Gloucester R.C.&W.Co. were intended for fast parcels services had bodies specifically designed for fast parcels traffic.
Features included 3 sets of double sliding doors per side, corridor connections on the Western Region batch and enough power provided by the 2 BUT (Leyland/Albion) engines of 230hp to pull a trailing load of 2 parcels carriages.
The units were allocated to the Western Region and London Midland Region.
None have been preserved.
